Overview
Argyll and Bute has one of Scotland’s longest coastlines and internationally important marine habitats. The Council’s Marine and Coastal Development Unit works on marine planning, aquaculture, conservation and coastal management, including local marine plans for Loch Etive, Loch Fyne and the Sound of Mull. It also supports community beach clean-ups through KIMO.
