Overview

Bloemendaal’s coast combines North Sea, beach and extensive dune habitats within the National Park Zuid-Kennemerland and Natura 2000 network. Its biodiversity planning recognises the ecological importance of the shallow coastal sea, beach and dunes. In 2026 Bloemendaal’s beaches again received Blue Flag and Green Wimpel recognition.
