Overview
Noardeast-Fryslân borders the Wadden Sea and Lauwersmeer and is closely involved in managing the interaction between coastal nature, water infrastructure and communities. Its coastal vision includes projects such as Holwerd aan Zee, new salt-marsh habitat and stronger connections between the Wadden Sea and hinterland.
