Overview
Vlissingen is a major coastal and maritime city where urban development, port activity, beaches and the North Sea meet. Its coastal programme addresses climate adaptation, biodiversity, water safety and beach quality. Through the SARCC project, the municipality has also explored nature-based solutions for resilient coastal development.
