Overview
Kommunufelagið represents the Faroese municipalities, all of which have a coastline and responsibility for marine environments around their harbours, marinas and beaches. The association has been a KIMO member since 1993 and has participated in international advocacy on marine pollution, including issues associated with Dounreay and Sellafield.
