Overview

Nyborg sits beside the Great Belt and is developing a stronger local focus on marine restoration. Its 2025 budget identifies potential projects with KIMO and other partners including eelgrass planting, stone reefs and a fish nursery, alongside work on Holckenhavn Fjord and marine spatial planning.
