Overview

Tønder contains extensive Wadden Sea landscapes, including Rømø, tidal flats, salt marshes and the Tøndermarsken. The municipality supports nature interpretation and conservation through facilities such as Tønnisgård and the National Park Wadden Sea, helping visitors understand the area’s exceptional marine and coastal environment.
