Overview
Öckerö is an island municipality in Kattegat where most of the municipal area is sea. Its marine work covers habitat protection, water quality, dredging, boating and beach cleaning. The municipality also participates in KIMO and provides systems for reporting oil spills, algal blooms and other marine environmental incidents.
