Overview
Ringkøbing-Skjern has a long North Sea coastline and includes Ringkøbing Fjord, an internationally important wetland and bird area. The municipality works on water quality, nature restoration and coastal resilience, balancing tourism, agriculture and other uses with protection of the fjord and marine environment.
