Overview

Wexford County Council manages a 260-kilometre coastline with more than 70 beaches, six Blue Flag beaches, two Blue Flag marinas, nine Green Coast beaches and numerous harbours. The council works on coastal erosion and climate resilience and has collaborated with Coastwatch on wetland monitoring and Ireland’s first national wetland inventory.
